  Translation and Linguistic Rights Committee’s video poem marathon The Translation and Linguistic Rights Committee (TLRC) of PEN International is proud to launch the third edition of its  video poem marathon , a project aiming to give visibility to the work of writers expressing themselves in indigenous or  minoritised  languages. From February 21 ( International Mother Language Day ) to March 21 ( World Poetry Day ), the TLRC will publish poems written and recited in a variety of unknown but incredibly rich world languages. Participating languages to this year’s edition include Wiradjuri (Australia), Kalaalisut (Greenlandic), Meskwaki (Iowa, USA), Ñuu Savi (Mixtec, Mexico), Sesotho (South Africa), Chiyao (Malawi), Karen (Myanmar), Bahasa Sug (Philippines), and Hazaragi (Afghanistan), among others.   Please follow the video poem marathon on the Translation and Linguistic Rights Committee’s  Facebook page . Translators on the Cover report – EU language translated versions

    Translators on the Cover report – EU language translated versions   The report has now been published in all 24 official EU languages and is available to download for free on this page /.   (Press the "Download and languages" button to access it). Its contents are very important as it looks at multilingualism and translation in Europe, and at policies and professionals' working conditions in the literary , performing arts and audiovisual translation sectors, and makes proposals to improve the situation all around the EU. Equally important in our view, is the quality of the translated versions of the report, for wider accessibility, and to enable associations and professionals to use the report in discussions and negotiations with governmental institutions and industry stakeholders, such as publishers' organisations and AV localisation LSPs, in their own countries.
